An early pioneer in his decision to serve veterinarians, Phil has acquired an incredible breadth of experience in all aspects of practice. After representing every type of client, Phil is quick to recognize the trends and subtle nuances required in a rapidly changing industry.

Phil was originally introduced to the veterinary industry over 30 years ago by Louis M. Gatto, a well-known veterinary industry CPA/tax advisor. As a sole practitioner, his early practice covered multiple areas of law: business transaction; business and civil litigation; family law; and probate matters. Then in 1987, after receiving a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation, he was capable of assisting clients with estate planning needs, structured purchases, partnerships, and buy/sell agreements. As the needs of the veterinarian grew, so did Phil’s experience. The diversity of his work has been an enormous source of enjoyment, and Phil has gained a tremendous appreciation for those who serve our animal companions. Today, Phil exclusively devotes his practice to the animal health professional.
